Journal Special Issues

The conference organizers will organize special issues in relevant journals covering a variety of topics related to intelligent environments. Intelligent environments are a distributed mix of intelligent systems, mobile devices and innovative services that are sensitive, adaptive and responsive to the presence of people, and able to anticipate user needs.

The main target is to gather quality research contributions in the most recent advancements in these next-generation technological ecosystems. The goal of the proposed special issues is to highlight the state-of-the-art and to address new research challenges on adaptation, security, education and human interaction in intelligent environments. From highly rated papers, the organizers will select the top papers and invite the authors to submit a substantially extended version of their papers for possible consideration in any of the special issues below.
