Registration Information:
All attendees are required to register for the event they are attending (eg workshop, sandpits, forums, conference or all). Each published paper requires one full registration (even if all authors of the paper are students, i.e., a student registration does not cover any papers). The only exception to this rule is micro-papers for the Doctoral Colloquium (and Sandpits, which have no papers associated with them). Presenting authors, participating co-authors, committee members and session chairs are not exempt from paying registration fees. Each paper is limited to 8 pages. A maximum of two extra pages per paper are allowed, at an additional charge of $125 USD per extra page. Students are required to provide a copy of a valid ID that certifies their full-time student status.
Important notes (1):
- In order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings, a full registration must be paid before May 9th, 2014. If you register late, your paper will not appear in the conference program and the proceedings.
- For registrants presenting or publishing papers there are no refunds after the print-ready deadline (9th May 2014 for conference, 16th May 2014 for workshops); before that a 50% refund. For registrants not presenting or not publishing papers there are no refunds after 2nd June 2014, before that a 50% refund.
- If you are looking for instructions to submit a print-ready paper to the IEEE, these are given on the author information web page.

Important notes (2):
- If you pay via bank transfer, please email the bank slip to boxie5@126.com as the proof of registration (and include the event and paper numbers that the payment relates to; one payment for multiple papers is allowed, just make sure you clearly state what the payments are for).
- The online registration payment system only supports one paper ID per registration form. If you want to register more than one paper at the same time, then you should click the + button to create and add an additional registration.
- The SJTU registration system is brand new and is having some teething problems. Thus, for example, the registration system does not recognise some linguistic symbols (non -ascii characters) such as umlauts and accents! If your name has such characters, try replacing them with plain ascii equivalents. Some users have reported errors with firefox, so please use Chrome or Safari as the brower. If it still doesn't work , replace the "undefined" with the billno given in the previous webpage. Some users have also reported that there Universities block URLs that use external ports (as does the Shanghai Jiaotong's payment system - http://cs.sjtu.edu.cn:8088/order). If this happens to you, it maybe worth trying to use your home broadband (ie a different provider) to make the connection and pay. If that doesn't work follow the steps in the next 'bullet' item.
- If you have any registration problems please email ie14sjtu[AT]163.com (copied to pc [AT] intenv.org), if possible, attaching a screenshot of the error you are encountering (on a PC, press 'Ctrl' and 'PrtScn' at the same time to capture an image of the active window - use 'Ctrl' and 'v' to paste it into your email). Don't worry, we will register you and not penalise you for any problems or delays caused by the system.

The event will include a discussion about the likelihood and consequences of such a singularity. Currently plans are being made to hold an Industrial Forum on the 1st July, which will also be open to conference and workshop attendees.
